Item Description
Calligraphic Composition – Repetition and Visual Echo. A calligraphic artwork created through a contemporary interpretation of the Kairouanese Kufic style.The calligraphic text " Glory be to God" occupies the centre of the composition in a dominant format. It is accompanied by several repetitions of the same inscription, arranged in different positions and presented in smaller sizes.The gradual reduction in opacity creates a subtle sense of depth and visual echo, while preserving the prominence of the central calligraphy.The background, enhanced with a delicate texture, contributes to the harmony of the composition. This artwork thus combines the expressive qualities of Arabic calligraphy with a contemporary exploration of repetition, transparency and visual rhythm.
